Milwaukee invites you to experience the people, places and possibilities of this jewel of the Great Lakes. The city will play host to the 2010 USA-Canada Lions Leadership Forum, which will be held at the Midwest Airlines Center Sept. 23-25. Along with attending Forum activities, Milwaukee offers visitors attractions, theater, museums, sports and more that will surprise and delight as you tour the Greater Milwaukee area.

The Libertyville Lions Club is proud to continue its scholarship recognition program by offering two $500 college scholarships.

The Lions of Illinois Foundation’s Hearing Bus is ready to roll and start OSHA testing. The drivers are certified by training with the Council for the Accreditation of Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). Dr. Thunder, AuD, FAAA, INCE, a licensed Audiologist, Forensic Audiologist and Acoustical Engineer will oversee the project and work on an as needed basis.

Three tent cities, housing 3,000 people total, have been established in the Port-au-Prince neighborhoods of Delmas, Blanchard and Carrefour-Feuille and an additional 240 tents are being sent to the region. Lions are now working to fully equip these tent cities with sanitation, kitchens and health clinics.
